Demand Planner Discontinuation Notice for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Guys, An important change for all of us ( The Dynamics Consultants) in terms of market strategy associated with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Demand Planner will not be available with the next release of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.  Beginning on 1 April 2010, Microsoft will stop offering and discontinue the generally available Demand Planner solution marketed for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (collectively the “Microsoft Programs”).  Microsoft licensed the Demand Planner solution from TXT e-Solutions SpA (TXT).  After careful consideration, TXT and Microsoft have decided to discontinue the current licensing relationship in regards to all versions of TXT’s Demand Planner solution for each of the Microsoft Programs.
As a result, all versions of TXT’s Demand Planner solution for the Microsoft Programs will be removed from the Microsoft price lists on 1 April 2010, 120 days from the date of our general announcement to customers.

Check out the details on Imran Bin Naeem blog post Here regarding the subject.
